Dr. G.H. Thanki, Principal Corrosion Management Consultant at CorroSafe, was honoured as an invited expert speaker at the prestigious GLOBAL Stainless-Steel Expo 2025, held in Mumbai. The event gathered leading professionals from across the global stainless-steel industry. Dr. Thanki delivered a well-received presentation on “Corrosion Management in Stainless Steel Infrastructure,” highlighting cost-effective strategies and long-term durability solutions. His session drew significant interest from engineers, researchers, and industry leaders.
In addition, Dr. Thanki actively participated as an invited panellist during the session on “Advancement in Heavy Engineering and Energy.” He observed that these sectors—fundamental to global infrastructure and economic growth—are undergoing a pivotal transformation. “We are witnessing a shift from muscle to mind,” he noted, observing how machines once defined by brute strength are evolving to become intelligent, connected, and increasingly autonomous.
On the energy front, he highlighted the rapid move toward decarbonization and diversification of energy sources.
